Stats midterm - check
Thank god for awesome neighbors. I met Brian a few months ago when we were all kicked out of our apartments for 1 1/2 weeks due to mold problems. He majored in computer sciences and minored(?) in math when he was a student at UCI. He always greets me on his way past my apartment to his, and we get into conversations about various things - cats, tutoring, annoying people... I caught him on his way up the stairs last night and asked if he could look at my statistics "exam template." He came in and went through the template with me question by question even though he had work to do, too. He must have been here for at least an hour and a half, if not two. By the time he left, I felt like I had a much better grasp on the subject. I swear, he was a godsend. I must make him cookies or something. 

In related news, my phsyiology lab report is refusing to write itself. It is currently one paragraph in length. It should be somewhere around 6 to 10 pages by the time I'm done. It's due tomorrow. *cries*

Yay for awesome neighbors. And I know how you feel on the lab report. Many of night I would start my paper after midnight and it would be due that day. Fun times./sarcasm Good luck!

I don't think I would have survived without him.

A paper I could do no problem. I did that freshman year for a criminology course - started around midnight, finished around 7 am, handed it in, got an A! But lab reports are different and (to me) a lot harder to pull off. Maybe that's because they're so boring compared to literature essays. *shrug* Hopefully this paper won't be too bad. Although these things always take forever and a day to complete.

I've never had to write a lab report so sadly, I cannot sympathize or anything. I'd say "woe" but really, I don't mind, hehe. I actually hate literature papers because I hate having to analyze things like that. Research papers are more my thing, which is something I actually need to do. Sadly, it's hard to be motivated to write a paper when there is no due day.

But it's so much easier to BS lit essays! You actually have to think and figure things out for lab reports.

Give me a creative writing project any day. That may end up being harder, require more editing and rereading, but it's way more fun despite that.

See, I'm not that creative. Creative writing doesn't come naturally to me at all. But give me a pencil and paper and I'll fill it with drawings and sketches.
