My mother called yesterday. She carefully avoided any mention of Prop 8 or anything related to it. We ended up talking about school, grades, getting a job at a vet clinic, volunteering at the OC Zoo, work in my lab and Kelly's new kitten (who is absolutly adorable, btw). I will probably end up going home for Thanksgiving, mainly because I had already offered my Grandpa a ride home about 2 days before my family imploded over Prop 8. If I do go, I'll be nice and polite, though I'll probably keep interactions with my father to a minimum because, after last week, I just don't even want to be in the same room with him.
