Around 3 am on Thursday morning I was woken up by heavy breathing coming from pauline's bed. On Saturday evening, while bitchface was sleeping, I had a brief chat about this with Xiomara. Xio agreed that it is very rude of pauline to lock us out whenever she feels like it, especially so because Xio's been sick for the last week and a half and only really wants to sleep when she gets home. When asked if she would like to join me in a talk (NOT a confrontation) about this with pauline, she jumped at the idea. A few minutes later, she changed her mind a bit and decided it might go over a little better if she were to talk to pauline about this without me. Fine by me, because I hate talking to pauline; she always seems to take everything I say as a personal attack on her. So, Xio talked to pauline after she woke up that night. She told me later on that that should be the end of it because it's fairly embarassing to get called out on something like this. Then, on Sunday after Xio left for work, I got locked out. Again. I had a text message chat with Xio on my way to the gym. It went something like this:

Me: Apparently it's till okay to lock me out of the room.
Xio: Omg are u serious?
Me: YES. She was in a towel and he was in shorts when she opened the door.
Xio: Damn.. Well I dunno what to say, that is such an awkward issue to address
Me: We could just be bitchy about it, but I think that will just make her worse. Or I could take off the door handle for the next few weeks.
Xio: I dunno, I was thinking that the next time I heard them in the middle of the night I'd make really loud moaning sexual noises and say this is how uncomfortable u guys make me feel, knock it off already. Something to that effect
Me: That would be awesome. I'll do it, too.
Xio: Ok so ya that's the plan.
Me: Sounds good. What about when we get locked out so they can bone? Should we bug them or ignore them?
Xio: I dunno I guess it depends on the situation, if u really need to go into the bedroom then ya keep buggin em

Fortunately, Pauline has apparently left on a trip to Washington with her boyfriend, so we shouldn't have to deal with her for awhile. That, and I move out in 1 1/2 weeks!! Maybe she won't get back until after I leave...

Grandma can go home!

She's been officially diagnosed as having a <i>small</i> bleed that disappeared on its own. On Saturday she had some weakness/paralysis, but she's doing just fine now, so she can go home soon! On Monday morning, she kept her eyes closed all day and wasn't very responsive - she kept her answers to "yes," "no," "hmmm," and "uh-uh." By yesterday, she was completely awake and aware and responsive to her surroundings. It sounds like she's as functional as she was before this happened a few days ago. They just need to give her some antibiotics. She'll probably go back to the home sometime tomorrow.

(Mom was observing her as we were talking. Apparently, Grandma was hugging and petting someone who wasn't there, maybe Grandpa? This is fairly common behavior for her: When Aunt Yesmene (her daughter) died two years ago, Aunt Jan broke the news. Grandma's response? "What are you talking about, she's standing right there." There was no one else in the room.)
